Rio Grande Valley native, Mario Aleman has been performing professionally for over thirty years and is currently promoting his most recent CD release, Soulspeak, released on the Innerflame Productions label. The original musical performance is an exciting blend of intense Rumba Flamenco rhythms, seasoned with impassioned, soul-stirring melodies, and all topped with Mario's fiery & blistering acoustic guitar work.
Steady bookings, including studio and live performances, have kept Aleman busy on the local and international music scene. Current projects aside from his solo work involve an acoustic duo with vocalist/guitarist, Carlos Rodriguez, performing Classic, Alternative Rock & Country music favorites. In addition, Mario also performs with Allied Forces, an 80s Rock & Metal tribute band who have had the pleasure of opening up for Stryper, George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), Dangerous Toys, and Stephen Pearcy (Ratt) at various outdoor music festivals.
Other accomplishments worth noting include Aleman taking 1st place at the Art Institute of Dallas Guitar Wars competition in 1990, performing for former US President Bill Clinton in 2001, playing acoustic & electric guitar for Iranian pop singer/actor, Aref Arefkia, at the Colosseum at Ceasars Palace, Las Vegas, Christmas Day, 2015, and a special performance for Texas governor, Greg Abbott in 2022.
